WOW!!

We have a bunch of activities planned for the next couple of months that will have time for fun, time for getting better acquainted, and time for Jesus. All at the same time!

All of these are open events. You don’t have to be connected to our church to see what it’s like. In fact, we often have guests and “drop-ins” show up. So – give us a call or send us an e-mail to get more information.

Make sure you check back later for updated information and for new events!

  • September 25:  Iroquois Association Bonfire (flyer in Church Hallway).  Youth would need to find transportation. (Contact the church to get up-to-date transportation information.)
  • September 27:  Missions Speaker at our Church, 6 PM
  • October 29:  Fun and Hayride at the Brooks’ Farm.  I have a program planned for the youth.  All people invited - including adults!  Sorry, adults. Programming is FYO (For Youth Only).
  • November 12-13:  ABYouth Convention. Youth from across New York State will be at the Holiday Inn in Syracuse-Liverpool for a week-end full of great music, heart-felt discussion, inspirational speakers, and more!

2010 Summer Children's Church

With the help of many adult leaders, Jr. Church was able to stay active and running during the hot days of summer.  The children and youth that took part in Jr. Church (offered during Worship Time) followed a “God’s Campground Theme” for July and August.

The program entailed the youth learning various stories from the Old Testament and allowed games, sensory experiences, and tasting of foods that people of long ago would have eaten.  The children learned team work, they sampled the stress that those fleeing from Egypt would have felt, and also learned about trust (notice the blindfolds!).  It was a great, active experience and also allowed for some coveted outdoor time.
